Overview

Library Customer Advisor – Worcestershire Libraries, Bromsgrove Cluster (Rubery-based with travel to Hagley, Bromsgrove, Droitwich or Catshill as required).

The Role

The role is diverse and customer focused. You will help customers access a wide range of resources and services, provide digital one-to-one support, and lead events and activities such as songs or storytelling sessions for children or online activity groups for adults. You will learn something new every day in a fast-paced environment.

Working hours are based on a rota and include Saturdays.

Salary: £17,286 to £17,560 per annum

Hours: 25 hours per week

Location: Rubery Library (with travel to other cluster libraries as required)

Team: Bromsgrove Cluster

Contract: Permanent

  • Will to find answers to questions and help customers
  • Background in retail, community, education, early years or library work is welcome
  • Strong focus on understanding and serving the customer
