Working as part of a cross‑functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How You Will Contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf‑life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation, etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer‑led specifications.

- Food science, science, or engineering ideally in a fast‑moving consumer goods market

- Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions independently
- Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions
- Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing
- Putting the consumer at the heart of development activities
Project Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead medium size reformulation projects across different chocolate category platforms in Europe, adding value to the products and eliminating consumer‑irrelevant product features
- Support procurement sourcing and business continuity projects, validate alternative limited‑flavour suppliers on sensory and process‑ability metrics
- Cooperate with Subject Matter Experts to assure limited‑flavour specifications deliver desired technical functionality, reflect sensory expectations of consumers and are process‑able on production lines
- Run pilot plant trials and basic sensory validations to assess the quality of the solution generated, constantly seeking optimisation and improvement
- Challenge status quo, be curious, optimise formulas, judge and challenge incoming ideas to help ensure efficient R&D resource utilisation on fewer but larger initiatives
- Work on flavour spec content reflecting industry standard features and make them up to Mondelez Specification Quality Standards
- Cooperate within multifunctional project teams to successfully deliver the solutions
Qualifications
- University degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or related area
- 1–2 years of experience in the food industry
- Chocolate, sensory, PLM, spec‑management system, SAP knowledge would be appreciated
- Fluency in English required; other language skills (e.g. Polish) are beneficial
- General knowledge of food manufacturing technologies, ingredients and technical curiosity, ability to operate or learn fast how to operate pilot plant equipment
- Good project management and negotiation skills
- Enthusiasm and full accountability for results, self‑standing, open and ready to learn on the job
- Can‑do attitude, thinking out of the box, creativity and happy to take up challenges
- Ability to work independently in a diverse and international environment
