About

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Mobile Multi-Skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our client’s team in Sutton, who would be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, testing, corrective works, and minor installations across a range of commercial buildings, plant and site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a variety of general maintenance, reactive services, and corrective works on buildings, plant, and site equipment.
  • Perform testing and inspection of mechanical systems in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Ensure all plant and systems are maintained and operated for maximum efficiency, availability, and reliability.
  • Conduct remedial and refurbishment works following breakdowns or maintenance inspections.
  • Complete mechanical maintenance tasks and corrective works in line with maintenance instructions.
  • Perform minor new works installations, including commissioning and testing.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and site personnel.

Requirements

  • BMP1 – Boosters (low pressure)
  • CCN1 – Core Domestic Gas Safety
  • CDGA1 – Commercial Direct Fired Heating Appliances
  • CIGA1 – Commercial Indirect Fired Heating Appliances
  • CODNCO1 – Domestic to Commercial Changeover (Natural Gas)
  • CORT1 – Commercial Radiant Tube & Overhead Heaters (desirable but not essential)
  • CPA1 – Combustion Performance Analysis
  • ICPN1 – Installation of Commercial Pipework
  • TPCP1A – Testing & Purging of Low-Pressure Commercial Pipework
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • CSCS
