Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Bank, London – £46,000

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in Bank, London. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in mechanical building maintenance. The company offers a competitive salary of £46,000, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday – 07:00 am to 16:00 pm / 09:00 am to 18:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, motors, seals, bearings
• Air conditioning – air handling units / fan coil units (filter changes, cleaning)
• Water treatment (temperature checks / not dosing)
• Plumbing – unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems
• Basic electrical duties (lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 (Essential)
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Client facing
