Salary: A GBP 36,000 : A GBP 38,000+

The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the venue, maintaining exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the team to deliver outstanding service. Acting as a senior point of contact, this role combines operational oversight with hands:on leadership, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily venue operations to ensure smooth execution and high service standards.
  • Support, coach, and develop managers and team members to optimize performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for operational or guest:related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Lead by example, engaging with guests to create memorable experiences and encourage repeat visits.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and enhance overall venue performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
  • Contribute to training initiatives and the continuous development of service excellence across all departments.

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in a hospitality or leisure management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating welcoming experiences.
  • Confident decision:maker with strong problem:solving abilities.
  • Financial awareness and understanding of venue performance metrics.
