A leading advisory firm is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to join its growing Strategy & Transactions team, focusing on Commercial Due Diligence and growth strategy across Industrial products, Technology & Services.

The firm advises ambitious, high-growth businesses, as well as private equity investors, supporting critical decisions across strategy, transactions and value creation.

The Role

As an Engagement Manager, you will play a central role in delivering commercial due diligence and strategy engagements, working closely with senior leadership and clients to solve complex business problems. You will lead project workstreams, manage teams and contribute to the development of client relationships and intellectual capital, operating within a high-performing and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading project workstreams across commercial due diligence and growth strategy engagements
  • Structuring and solving complex client problems in collaboration with senior stakeholders
  • Managing teams, overseeing deliverables and ensuring high-quality output under tight timelines
  • Conducting and reviewing detailed market, competitor and customer analysis
  • Supporting business development through proposal development and thought leadership
  • Contributing to practice development, including methodology enhancement and knowledge sharing
  • Ensuring strong risk management, quality and ethical standards across engagements

Candidate Profile

  • Strong experience delivering commercial due diligence and/or growth strategy projects, ideally within a consulting or advisory environment
  • Proven ability to manage projects and teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Experience across industrials, manufacturing, B2B services or technology sectors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members
  • Understanding of risk, compliance and quality standards within a consulting environment
