Job Title: Supply Chain Manager (Supplier Management)

Location: Flintshire (Hybrid – approx. 60% onsite)

Contract: 6 Months (Potential Extension)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support a key defence-related organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical supply chain operations that support operational capability and service delivery.

This role will focus on managing inventory, supplier performance, demand planning, and supply chain optimisation across a defined range of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain item data within logistics systems to support supply chain activities
  • Develop and execute inventory demand and supply plans
  • Support storage and distribution solutions aligned with customer requirements
  • Ensure compliance with customs and HMRC documentation for inventory movement
  • Maintain accurate material and financial accounting of inventory
  • Coordinate inventory disposals in line with policies and operational needs
  • Support supply chain requirements across the lifecycle (CADMID)
  • Conduct management checks to ensure adherence to supply chain policies and processes

Essential Skills & Experience

✔ Experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management

✔ Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills

✔ Ability to manage and operate within budgets

✔ Data analysis, reporting, and interpretation skills

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

✔ Full UK Driving Licence

Working Pattern

This is a hybrid role, requiring approximately 60% onsite presence to support collaboration, with flexibility offered to maintain work-life balance.
