Insurance Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales)
We’re partnered with a high-growth, AI-native Insurtech transforming how insurers operate across the full policy lifecycle
They’re now hiring a Insurance Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) to play a key role in shaping and scaling their pre-sales function across the UK market.
The Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Own technical pre-sales engagements across insurance SaaS / Insurtech platforms from discovery through to close
- Deliver tailored demos aligned to underwriting workflows, risk selection, and portfolio optimisation
- Translate customer workflows into configurations across Policy Administration Systems (PAS), Rating Engines, and Underwriting Workbenches
- Support deals involving bordereaux data, delegated authority (DUA), and portfolio performance analysis
- Lead RFPs, due diligence, and insurance-specific security / compliance requirements
- Build scalable demo environments reflecting P&C, Specialty Lines, and Lloyd’s use cases
- Develop reusable assets including rating logic, underwriting rules, and policy lifecycle scenarios
- Partner with Sales & Marketing to refine insurance value propositions and technical messaging
- Help define and optimise the end-to-end pre-sales lifecycle within an Insurtech environment
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering to align roadmap with underwriter and broker pain points
- Provide structured handovers into Implementation, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams
What My Client Is Looking For:
- 6–10+ years in Solutions Engineering / Pre-Sales / Technical Consulting (Insurtech or Insurance Platforms)
- Strong experience supporting enterprise SaaS sales within insurance or financial services
- Deep understanding of insurance processes (Underwriting, Rating, Quoting, Policy Administration, Renewals)
- Experience working with or alongside PAS platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, etc.)
- Ability to translate technical solutions into commercial value for insurers, MGAs, and carriers
- Strong stakeholder engagement across Underwriters, Actuaries, Product Owners, and IT teams
- Hands‑on experience with solution design, technical discovery, and enterprise demos
- Comfortable operating in a high‑growth Insurtech / scale‑up environment
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
