Credit Controller

Full-time – 6 month contractSalary up to £30,000

We are working with a dynamic international business operating across global markets to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a 6-month contract. This role is fully office-based so you must be able to reliably commute to their offices in West Somerset.

Key Responsibilities

• Chase overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Maintain accurate records of communication and payment arrangements.
• Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts accurately.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Monitor aged debt reports and escalate high-risk accounts.
• Assist with month-end reporting and cashflow forecasting.
• Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Previous credit control experience, ideally within FMCG.
• Available on short notice of up to 2 weeks.
• Strong knowledge of multi-currency export environments.
• Reliably commute to West Somerset.
• Confident negotiator with strong communication skills.
