Our opportunity

We are looking for an experienced part-time Credit Controllerto join our Finance team, working three days per week in our Londonoffice.

In a fast-paced consultancy setting you will oversee allaspects of SEC Newgate UK’s credit control function, focusing onensuring prompt payments of all our debts and delivery of our cashflowtargets. Your focus will be on delivering average debtor days of 40 aswell as helping us mitigate any bad debt risk and maximising our cashconversion ratios ensuring all debts are paid in full and on time inline with our agreed payment terms. You will also work with all membersand teams of our business by sharing aged debtors reports with them in atimely manner.

You will work closely with our COO/CFO on any overdue debtors requiring escalation to lawyers for recovery.

We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator(both verbal and written); has a collaborative team approach and superbanalytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.

You will need to be flexible in how you respond to unexpectedtime‑sensitive tasks and possess the ability to remain calm underpressure. We are looking for an individual who can work independentlywith minimum supervision who is not afraid to use their initiative andprogress matters.

Ideal for you if you:

  • Have at least one year’s credit control experience
  • Demonstrate integrity
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills so you can prioritise workload
  • Can think clearly and work independently with minimum supervision, rising to challenges.
  • Ability to work closely with other members of the finance team is a must.
  • Have the confidence to work closely with billing partners and members of our senior management and leadership teams
