Responsibilities
- Reviewing and prioritising changes and communicating the potential impacts clearly, ensuring adequate testing of changes in order to minimise change related service outages and ensure the impact is truly understood.
- Meticulously validating and assessing the risk and impact of all changes, with a focus on complex changes, ensuring correct stakeholders are identified and engaged to ensure the integrity of the services provided and with documented instructions and back out plans, in place.
- Liaising with Incident Management for potential complex Emergency changes, joining technical bridge calls when required and administering the Emergency Change process.
- Assisting in developing policies, processes and procedures in line with best practice to deliver quality services.
- Investigating non-compliance of the Change assurance policies and processes, intervening and chairing discussions where appropriate to improve adherence by all stakeholders.
