Product Manager

Company: Evaro
Apply for the Product Manager
Location: Norwich
Job Description:

Evaro is looking to do for healthcare what online banking has done for finance – and we’re looking for a Product Manager to help us do exactly that.

We’re hiring a Product Manager to help turn business and patient outcomes into real, working product — shaping what we build, and seeing it through to delivery in the hands of users.

About the job

This is a hands‑on product role, working day‑to‑day with engineers, clinical stakeholders, and commercial teams to define, shape, and deliver meaningful change. You will take clear outcome goals and lead the work of turning them into well‑understood, feasible, and valuable product increments.

You will be responsible for ensuring engineering teams have absolute clarity on:

  • What we are building
  • Why it matters
  • What constraints and trade‑offs exist
  • How we will know it is successful

A significant part of the role is working closely with engineers to explore technical approaches, understand system constraints, and shape solutions that are both valuable and practical to deliver. This is not a roadmap‑only strategy role. It is about owning the hard thinking required to move from intent to implementation — bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to complex problems. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being close to the work: refining, questioning, collaborating, and ensuring that what is delivered genuinely meets the need. This role is particularly well suited to experienced Product Owners, delivery‑focused product professionals, or individuals who have worked closely with engineering teams and want to take broader ownership of product outcomes.

Location

This is a full‑time permanent role with a preference for candidates based in or near Norwich. We believe this role benefits from regular in‑person collaboration with engineering and clinical teams. We offer some flexibility for the right candidate, but you should expect to spend meaningful time working alongside teams in our Norwich office.

In this role

You will:

  • Translate commercial, operational, and patient outcomes into clear problem statements, epics, and prioritised product work
  • Partner closely with engineering to shape solutions that are feasible, scalable, and well understood before development begins
  • Lead day‑to‑day product delivery within an engineering team
  • Own and maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog aligned to agreed outcomes
  • Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Run delivery ceremonies (planning, refinement, review, retrospectives)
  • Act as the primary triage point for bugs, incidents, and feature requests
  • Manage trade‑offs, dependencies, and delivery risks
  • Protect engineering focus from unstructured demand
  • Communicate priorities, progress, and risks clearly to stakeholders
  • Monitor post‑release outcomes and drive continuous improvement
  • Use AI tooling to assist backlog refinement, impact analysis, and operational insight
  • You’ll work as part of a small, focused team and play an integral role in building infrastructure that impacts over 13.5 million patients across the UK.
