Job Description:

Conex, a cornerstone of the TDUK Group, is one of London’s foremost convenience wholesale distributors, specialising in nicotine products and a diverse array of imported confectionery, beverages, and snacks sourced from around the world. We are known for our competitive pricing, reliability and quick turnaround. We are launching a new B2B Ordering Web App targeted to UK independent retailers and wholesalers.

We are transforming our business with ambitious growth plans. This is a key ‘front line’ role critical to achieving our growth goals, expanding our customer base and deepening existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively visit independent retailers to introduce our products and secure sales.
  • Identify new business/sales opportunities and build a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Present and demonstrate product ranges effectively, addressing retailer needs and objections.
  • Negotiate pricing, order volumes, and payment terms within company guidelines.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Account Management & Relationship Building

  • Develop long‑term relationships with retailers, ensuring repeat business.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering queries and offering tailored product recommendations.
  • Regularly check in with existing customers to support their needs and encourage reorders.
  • Gather feedback from retailers and relay insights on new and existing products.
  • Proactively maintain and update our CRM system.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in field sales or B2B sales ideally within the consumer goods sector.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to close deals.
  • Confident communicator, able to build rapport quickly.
  • Self‑motivated and target‑driven, with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients (valid UK driving licence required).
  • Experience selling to independent retailers or wholesalers.
  • Familiarity with CRM software to track leads and sales performance.
