Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a young adult to live independently and access their local community.
The support will mainly take place during the week, including accompanying the client to their weekly art therapy sessions on Thursdays. There may also be occasional evening or weekend work to support attendance at concerts and other social activities.
This is a varied and rewarding role that includes supporting the client both at home and in the community.

Roles and Responsibilities
Preparing meals (approximately twice per week).
Supporting with household tasks (1-2 times per week).
Shopping for groceries.
Refilling a medication organiser (dosette box).
Collecting prescriptions.
Accompanying and supporting the client at hospital and GP appointments.
Assisting with general administration and paperwork.
Providing social support and helping the client access community activities.
Supporting attendance at weekly art therapy sessions.
Accompanying the client to concerts and other leisure activities when required.
Assisting with mobility, including the use of both an electric wheelchair and a manual wheelchair.
