Civils & Groundworks Quantity Surveyor
West Midlands £45,000 – £55,000 + Package
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation across the Midlands.
Due to continued growth and a healthy secured order book, they are looking to appoint a Civils & Groundworks Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for:
- An Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
- An Intermediate QS looking to develop further
- Or an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a long-term move
The Role
You’ll be working across a range of residential groundworks projects, managing costs from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and managing project budgets
- Subcontractor procurement and management
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Liaising with clients, site teams, and commercial management
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has experience in civils / groundworks, ideally within residential schemes
- Has strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Can manage multiple projects or packages
- Is ambitious and keen to progress their career
