They are seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to work alongside some highly experienced Directors, to drive growth, through both new customer acquisition and up‑selling/cross‑selling into existing key accounts, that sit in specialist sectors. The business is well respected, has a track record in their market and is focused on creating great customer outcomes.
Role Description
This is a full‑time role for a Junior Business Development Manager located in the Thames Valley region, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients, and supporting the development of strategic partnerships. Responsibilities include conducting market research, analysing industry trends, preparing and delivering proposals/presentations, and supporting business growth initiatives through effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Business Development, Networking, and Account Management
- 2–4 years’ experience in selling services into education, public sector, healthcare or charities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with senior clients and stakeholders in specialist departments
- Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and achieving targets
