About The Role The Manager, Professional Services – Architecture, leads a team of Professional Services Architects responsible for designing and driving scalable, production-ready, enterprise-grade Alteryx implementations. You will combine people leadership with strong technical oversight, ensuring architectural excellence and a differentiated customer experience across engagements. Operating within an established services framework, you will partner closely with Sales and Customer Experience to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes and long-term customer value. This role is ideal for a technically credible leader who thrives on developing talent, elevating execution standards, and contributing to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Develop Architects: Coach and develop a team of Professional Services Architects. Drive performance, career growth, and technical excellence. Support hiring and workforce planning as the team scales.
  • Ensure Architectural Excellence & Customer Experience: Provide architectural oversight for complex enterprise implementations. Review and guide solution designs to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with established standards and best practices. Ensure architectural decisions support strong adoption, usability, and long-term customer value. Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical challenges.
  • Partner Across the Customer Lifecycle: Support pre-sales validation and services scoping. Build trusted advisor relationships with technical and executive stakeholders. Align architectural design to measurable business outcomes. Partner with Customer Success to ensure continuity from implementation through value realization.
  • Drive Operational Performance: Balance high-quality delivery with utilization and capacity goals. Advance the continuous improvement of architectural practices and delivery effectiveness. Partner with senior leadership on business planning, forecasting, and resource management, driving measurable performance outcomes aligned to organizational priorities.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in solution architecture, consulting, or Professional Services, including experience driving enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions with a strong focus on customer experience, adoption, and long-term value realization.
  • 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse).
  • Experience supporting cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience contributing to pre-sales technical validation and services scoping.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into scalable technical architectures.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
