Use your skills to transform lives, not just dashboards

We’re working with a purpose-driven healthcare organisation that supports thousands of people across the UK every day, many of whom rely on bespoke, compassionate care to live fulfilling, independent lives. The work they do changes lives. And now they’re investing heavily in data, digital and technology to expand that impact even further. They’re hiring a BI Developer / Analyst to help evolve their data capability as they scale — developing trusted analytics, robust semantic models and self-service reporting that enables smarter, faster decisions across the organisation.

Why this role matters

Data sits at the centre of this organisation’s next phase of growth. Your work will directly influence how frontline and operational teams understand performance, identify trends, allocate resources and improve outcomes. This isn’t just about producing reports — it’s about creating reliable, accessible data products that empower better, more personalised care. You’ll play a key role in building a modern, governed BI environment that the wider business can trust and confidently use.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Building, enhancing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models
  • Developing robust DAX measures and clearly defined, trusted KPIs
  • Designing scalable data models that enable accurate self-service analytics
  • Supporting ETL/ELT processes to ensure clean, structured and reliable data
  • Working within an Azure and Microsoft Fabric environment
  • Monitoring and optimising dataset and model performance
  • Implementing secure reporting solutions including row‑level security
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable insight
  • Supporting data literacy and helping embed a data‑driven culture

You’ll work closely with a forward‑thinking Head of Data and Analytics, alongside a supportive team of architects, engineers and analysts who are building modern systems designed to make a meaningful difference.

We’re looking for someone who

  • Has proven experience delivering production‑ready Power BI dashboards, reports and models
  • Is confident with advanced SQL for shaping and preparing data
  • Has strong DAX and data modelling capability
  • Understands ETL/ELT processes within modern cloud data environments
  • Is familiar with Azure and Microsoft Fabric
  • Can explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and influencing decision‑making through insight

Desirable experience includes additional BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, SSRS), Alteryx, or previous experience within health or social care environments.

If you’re looking for a role where your technical capability directly contributes to improving lives and where data is genuinely valued at leadership level — this is a chance to build something that matters.
