Signatus is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in Antrim for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Litigation Legal team. This is a key support role within a fast-paced practice, suited to someone highly organised, detail-driven, and confident in handling sensitive matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
  • Managing solicitor diaries, court dates, and appointment scheduling.
  • Handling client communication via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Liaising with courts, counsel, and external agencies.
  • Maintaining accurate case files, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Assisting with controllership, legal aid applications, and billing processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a legal secretary, ideally within medical negligence Litigation but general litigation may be acceptable
  • Strong client service approach and professional communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and competent IT skills.
  • Able to manage time effectively and prioritise in a busy environment.
