Job Description
OETC has a strong track record fundraising from trusts, foundations and statutory contracts. The Senior Development Manager will lead on the development and delivery of fundraising and income generation, securing five‑and‑six‑figure gifts for OETC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a creative and ambitious organisation and to shape its future. Preferred candidates are those considering the next step in their fundraising career and moving into their first senior leadership role. The new manager will be supported by the CEO and a Development Subcommittee composed of expert fundraisers from across the arts and social welfare sectors. While the manager will work autonomously across at least one income stream, experienced members of the Subcommittee will be available to help develop skills required to implement fundraising activities where experience may be limited.
Responsibilities
- Take a proactive approach to managing pre-existing relationships with funders and growing the funding portfolio for the future.
- Shape an ambitious new strategy for generating sustainable income by developing strong corporate relationships and increasing individual donations, thereby building a robust supporter base.
- Hold responsibility and oversight for all funding reports and impact measurement for funded projects.
