Parkinsons UK

Parkinson’s UK funds groundbreaking research to find a cure for the condition and works to improve the lives of anyone affected by the condition.

Parkinson’s UK support groups provide local support, social opportunities, information and activities to local people affected by Parkinson’s. Run by small teams of volunteers, they offer monthly meetings and social events for the members and we are now looking for someone to join us as Finance Contact for the North Down and Ards Support Group.

As Finance Contact you will be

– Recording transactions and maintaining financial records.

– Reconciling the bank account each month and completing the annual financial return.

-Be an account signatory.

-Working closely with the other volunteers and providing regular financial statements.

It’s a flexible role as you just need to have a maximum of a couple of hours a week to spare – at a time that suits you – and to be able to attend the monthly support group meeting and quarterly team meetings.
