Responsibilities

As a Recruiting Manager in the BCG X EMESA Recruiting Team, you will own talent acquisition activities for various capabilities within BCG X LAB. This full‑life‑cycle recruiting role will support a diverse range of mid‑senior level positions from inception through to completion with responsibility for managing stakeholder relationships, candidate sourcing, vendor management, talent selection, interview scheduling, offer management and on‑boarding in LAB and across Europe. Working in close partnership with the local and regional teams, the role will also have wider responsibilities supporting regional strategy, operational effectiveness and recruitment best practice across the region.

  • Owning & driving recruiting initiatives to hire the best talent for BCG X. You will be responsible for leading the execution of regional talent acquisition strategy.
  • In addition to strong experience of the analytics talent market, have an understanding of cultural nuances specific to the region to be able to effectively manage local & regional candidates & stakeholders.
  • Managing full lifecycle of vacancies across a diverse range of skills and capabilities within the analytics business.
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships as a trusted partner and valued advisor, building a deep understanding of their business, function knowledge and/or technical skills, role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of recruiters to effectively deliver on all hiring requirements for these businesses, working collaboratively with regional BCG X HR team.
  • Leveraging internal talent sources to drive mobility, employee referrals and alumni engagement in the region.
  • Identifying high quality candidates through the proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via direct channels, job postings, social media, web sourcing, talent mapping, vendors, networking & other innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Conducting initial assessments for all suitable candidates, providing a competency‑based assessment and candidate recommendation.
  • Building talent pipelines to fill current and future roles to drive improvements in time to hire.
  • Managing recruitment campaigns for any volume hiring needs or brand building events.
  • Utilizing the applicant tracking system to actively track, manage and report on candidate pipelines to enhance stakeholder communication and ensure effective process management.
  • Articulation of the global talent brand and candidate value proposition to the region and subsequent promotion to the appropriate talent markets in each country.
  • Leading regional projects as well as implementing them.
  • Reviewing key metrics and performance measures for the region, and making recommendations for enhancements wherever possible.
  • Ensuring global best practices are embedded in the region to drive operational effectiveness through process improvements and the ongoing coaching and mentoring of hiring managers and the regional HR team.
  • Supporting hiring manager coaching and behavioural based interview training, as required, to enhance the quality of hiring decision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with high academic achievement required.
  • Indicatively ~6‑8 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience in analytics capabilities such as software engineering, predictive analytics, data engineering, risk analytics, rapid prototyping, etc.
  • Understanding of market talent pool, sourcing channels, hiring trends, cultural norms, compensation benchmarks.
  • Minimum 2 years of team management experience with ability to coach & guide.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Brassring, Taleo, iCIMS, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge and proven success of utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter for successful hires.
  • Ability to articulate and understand the specific role requirements.
  • Proactive candidate sourcing skills through all available internal and external channels.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships through a dedicated focus on client service and delivery.
  • Proven experience managing multiple searches through strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to be responsive and effective in a fast‑paced yet consensus‑based corporate culture, to multitask and operate effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Best practice process management and driving operational effectiveness.
  • Experience building internal network with senior leaders and advising senior stakeholders as subject matter expert.
  • Excellent English.
