Senior Care Assistant – Homemaker Lead

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join Richmond Manor, a luxury care home in Ampthill, providing residential, dementia and nursing care.

Working Pattern

12‑hour shifts with alternative weekend work on a rotating rota.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised care to residents, adapting to their personal needs.
  • Administer medication, assist with daily activities, and help maintain personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve meals, arrange family visits, and coordinate outings such as salon appointments.
  • Observe and document residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to the care team.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in domiciliary or care work within a similar setting.
  • Training experience or relevant qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable).
