Your new role

You will join as an Associate Electrical Design Engineer, taking ownership of electrical design delivery across a range of building services projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking to step up into a more strategic, leadership-focused position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery from concept through to completion, producing and reviewing detailed electrical designs (including power, lighting, and life safety systems), and acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers, supporting team development, and contributing to project planning, resource management, and business growth.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in electrical design within a building services consultancy environment (currently operating at Senior Engineer level or above, with a desire to step into an Associate role).
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE guidance).
  • Experience working across sectors such as commercial, residential, or education.
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux (or similar).
