Keeping our Mail Centres running like clockwork 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It’s a shift like no other. You will cover various indoor roles in a warehouse environment. On your feet and keeping up the pace. Changing from one task to another along the sorting chain, you could be unloading mail from vans, moving items around in trolleys, sorting parcels and letters manually or operating machinery. A mail centre can process over a million items in a shift and you’ll be a valuable part of making that happen. You’ll take it in your stride, because we deliver for the nation.

What We Offer
- A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour
- Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of 1.25× for any hours worked over 40 hours a week
- 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to working hours if below 40 hours a week)

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full‑time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.
As a Mail Sorter, you’re expected to handle election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
