Overview

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our well-known, industry-leading client based in the Birmingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday.

Start Times: Start times vary between 12pm – 10pm (afternoon/nights).

Pay Rate

• 17.00 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
• 18.25 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)

Location: Birmingham, B76.

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing.

The role

• Trunking – Performing trunk runs to the hub.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 6 months experience.
• No more than 6 points on the licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety‑first mindset.
