Your Role
- You will support the Head of IT in developing and maintaining the IT strategy and deputise when required.
- You will design, architect and deliver secure and cost‑effective technology solutions aligned to business needs.
- You will manage IT infrastructure, platforms, connectivity and cloud services to ensure availability, performance and security.
- You will act as project manager and change manager, ensuring best practice delivery and excellent customer experience.
- You will manage third‑party suppliers and service partners to ensure value, security and contractual compliance.
- You are responsible for major incident, disaster recovery, vulnerability management and continual service improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: ITIL awareness, Microsoft certification, strong technical expertise and project management experience or qualification.
- Experience: Engaging stakeholders in technology change, delivering IT platforms with measurable business benefit, and providing technical delivery and support across infrastructure, service and security.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer‑focused mindset, strong planning and problem‑solving ability, a strong team player, comfortable with motivating and delivering through others.
Experience & Knowledge
- Successful delivery of significant technology adoption and change initiatives.
- Implementation of IT platforms and tools delivering clear customer and business benefit.
- Strong technical delivery and support experience across infrastructure, service management and security.
Desirable
- Degree or equivalent in a computing, engineering, mathematics or business‑related discipline.
- Knowledge of information security, audit and IT service management.
Additional Skills
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent supplier and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to anticipate risks, mitigate negative user impact and drive continual improvement.
