Job Description
The successful candidate will support identified pupils who have experienced significant trauma. They will deliver sessions through activities that enable pupils to identify their responses to events and adapt behaviours in order to effectively access the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Provide trauma‑informed support to pupils as part of the teaching team.
- Plan and deliver activities that help pupils recognise and manage their emotional responses.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons and behaviours for pupils with trauma histories.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Good standard of education and understanding of children/young peoples’ needs and rights.
- Experience working with children.
- Desire, determination, and skills to meet the significant challenges of the role.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Welsh language skills are desirable.
