Role Overview

The Chef will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, ensuring high quality dishes, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. The position plays a crucial role in delivering an outstanding dining experience to guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all food preparation adheres to quality standards, presentation, and consistency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
  • Enforce food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen team members to uphold high performance standards.
  • Assist in managing kitchen budgets and minimizing wastage.
  • Support opening, closing, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any food quality concerns professionally.
  • Comply with the hotel’s allergy management procedures and health & safety policies.
