Level 2 Teaching Assistants – EYFS

Due to unprecedented demand Desian Education are looking to recruit a number of reliable and qualified Level 2 EYFS teaching assistants to join one of a number of our partnership schools for long‑term full‑time contracts from September. We have several extremely exciting opportunities to join supportive mainstream primary schools where you will play an integral part in the early education and development of young learners. This would be the perfect opportunity for a newly qualified EYFS teaching assistant to gain experience within a supportive and nurturing school.

Your new role:

• Planning and delivering various activities in line with the EYFS national curriculum and pupil key interests
• Delivering learn through play to support social, emotional & fine motor skills development
• Completing guided reading and writing
• Supporting with transition days
• Supporting during break and lunch times

What you need to succeed:

• Full “Right to Work” in the UK
• Relevant referenceable classroom experience
• A passion for supporting young learners
• Be at least NVQ Level 2 Early Years Educator or equivalent qualified
• Have an Enhanced Children’s DBS or willingness to obtain
• Good knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum
