Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer (23707) Clevedon, England

£52,000 – £53,700 per annum, Monday – Friday, 1 weekend in 4 with time off in the week. Overtime 1.5x Monday – Friday, double time for weekend, bank holiday double time + time in lieu. 9% pension scheme, life insurance 4x salary, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, option to buy or sell 5 days holiday, company sick pay scheme.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Planned maintenance inspections, review parts used.
• Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules, carry out safety checks on a range of equipment.
• Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair machinery.
• Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments.
• Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non-conformance issues.
• Work on a range of valves and pumps.
• Support production and continuous improvement projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Formal engineering qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship trained.
• Continuous improvement knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
• Experience in food, packaging, drink, or manufacturing environments.
