SEND Teacher Opportunity – Autism Resource Base (Camden)
SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to recruit an outstanding SEND Teacher to join a mainstream Primary School with a specialist Autism Resource Base in Camden. The fixed‑term, one‑year contract will support a small class of 6‑8 pupils with Autism, working alongside a highly experienced support team in a well‑resourced SEND environment.
Contract type: Fixed‑term, 1 year. Salary: MPS1‑MPS6, plus SEN allowance.
The school is a flourishing, Rights‑Respecting Primary School with a dedicated Autism Resource Base that supports 30 pupils and a centre for two‑year‑olds. It embraces an exceptional inclusive ethos across mainstream and SEND provision.
Qualifications and Experience
- Outstanding Primary Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of supporting children with Autism
- Experience with or understanding of Makaton and/or PECS
- Ability to build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Excellent organisational and digital skills
- Passion for inclusive education and SEND development
- Camden‑based or willing to travel long‑term to the area
