What you will do
Design mechanical services for buildings, ensuring they are heated, ventilated and air conditioned effectively. You will carry out pipe and duct sizing calculations, write specifications and select HVAC equipment. Working closely with clients, you will help shape their briefs and attend design team meetings to ensure the solutions meet their needs. This collaborative approach will build your confidence and influence in the field.
What you will need
- At least 2 years of experience in building services design
- A formal mechanical engineering qualification
- A desire to develop your skills and take on more responsibility
