Operational Resilience Manager – London (Hybrid)
A leading global insurer is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Manager to play a key role in strengthening and embedding resilience frameworks across the business.
This is a high-impact position focused on Operational Resilience, DORA, and regulatory compliance, working closely with senior stakeholders across underwriting, IT, claims, and third-party risk to ensure the business meets evolving regulatory expectations.
The role centres on framework design and embedding, scenario testing, IBS mapping, and resilience reporting, alongside driving continuous improvement across key areas such as ICT risk, incident management, and third-party resilience. You will take ownership of scenario testing programmes, vulnerability assessments, and regulatory self-assessment outputs, while supporting Board and committee reporting.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong engagement with stakeholders across the organisation, acting as a key SME on Operational Resilience and DORA, and helping to shape and deliver the wider resilience strategy.
Key experience required:
- Strong background in Operational Resilience within insurance or financial services
- Knowledge of DORA and broader resilience regulation
- Experience in IBS mapping, scenario testing, and resilience frameworks
- Ability to produce high-quality MI, reporting, and regulatory documentation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
