Interim Operational Manager – Emergency Department

Our Client, based in theNorthern Home Counties is seeking to recruit anInterim Operational Manager for a busy Emergency Department for at least a 3 month period whilst a substantive recruitment process takes place.

• Responsible for the operational management of all patient services within the Emergency Department.
• Delivery of all operational performance targets, including waiting lists, Finance and the quality of services to patients and improving services towards best practice standards within the available income.
• Ensure the achievement of objectives within the Emergency Department performance framework, ensuring that approved budgets are spent effectively.
• Co-ordinate the Emergency Departments formulation of operational plans ensuring that these contribute to the achievement of Divisional plan.
• Work closely with the Performance and Business Development Manager, Clinical Directors and Assistant Director of Nursing to achieve the Division’s service objectives.
• Support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service.
