What skills and experience we’re looking for

New Collaborative Learning Trust (NCLT) is excited to be recruiting for this critical role, which will work across the Trust to define and drive the operational delivery of key systems and services. We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds. You may be an experienced support professional who has overseen an MIS system across a school/Trust and supported leaders in producing impactful data processes. Or you may be a teacher who has worked extensively with MIS systems in your role and is now keen to develop this work further as part of the support team, influencing practice across the Trust. The successful candidate will be an effective people manager and confident in working with a variety of leaders to deliver proactive solutions using the full functionality of our MIS systems.

We are looking for someone with the operational skill set to turn strategic ideas into reality. You will be able to demonstrate experience in multi-function management, business planning, and effective prioritisation. You will also possess a well-rounded understanding of the key areas within a multi-academy Trust. We have invested significantly in our Digital Transformation Team who are developing exciting areas in data warehousing, Power BI, and the use of AI tools including Claude. These developments will directly support Digital Operations roles across the Trust.

We are committed to appointing the right person and will be flexible in determining the line management structure within the Digital Team based on the appointed candidate’s skills and attributes, as well as the scope of their initial work across individual phases or Trust-wide. The current Digital Team structure is available for candidates to view in an attached document, and we are happy to answer any questions about the team or the role throughout the recruitment process.

Our shared services are here to support all of our schools and colleges across several areas including Health and Safety, Finance, Estates and MIS.
