An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist to join our well established and multi-award winning surgery and orthopaedic clinical pharmacy team at Ninewells Hospital.

As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will get the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge to practice at advanced level across a variety of settings such as General, Vascular and Urology surgery, the Acute Surgical Receiving Unit, Orthopaedics, Critical Care and Theatre Admission Suite. You will be supported to develop and enhance skills across all pillars of advanced practice – clinical practice, education, leadership and research. This is an exciting and rewarding role with excellent support from our clinical pharmacy team. You will also further your knowledge and experience in other clinical areas such as critical care, surgical and orthopaedic frailty teams.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team and be either a registered Independent Prescriber or working towards the qualification. You must also be working towards advanced practice or have experience to an equivalent level.

The post holder will be required to contribute to the on-call, weekend and public holiday rotas as per service requirements.

Hours of work are: 36 Hours worked over a 7 day week. Part time applicants will also be considered.
