Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Join our client on large commercial projects as a Mechanical Senior Project Manager.

About the role:

Our client is one of Europe’s biggest construction and building services contractors, seeking to expand their M&E delivery team for large commercial projects in Central London. With a stable history of winning work, there are opportunities to work on large commercial buildings with substantial M&E packages (£50 million plus). They prioritize a people-first approach and are committed to upskilling and training their employees.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide regular progress updates to the M&E Project Director, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead, manage, and mentor project team members.
• Oversee the design, development, and installation of mechanical systems.
• Manage the total mechanical package for projects ranging from £15m to £35m.
• Build and manage relationships with subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Oversee the engineering team from project inception to final handover, ensuring high standards.

Skills and Background:

• Experience delivering mechanical projects from pre-construction to commissioning, with a background in mechanical engineering on projects valued between £15m and £20m.
• Leadership experience with engineering, project management, and construction teams.
• Commitment to health and safety, fostering a positive working environment, and conflict resolution.
