  • Lead and drive all activities for our Sales Engineering team
  • Partner closely with sales management to meet the company’s business objectives
  • Recruit, develop, improve, and maintain the Sales Engineering organization and processes
  • Plan and manage team resources, ensuring efficient deployment to support a broad range of customer and partner needs
  • Understand and communicate technical issues and enhancement requests from customers back to technical support, product management and engineering
  • Perform strategic win/loss analysis to optimize sales execution and drive product improvements
  • Provide reporting on sales activities, customer initiatives, and product requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to align Sales Engineering with A10 Networks strategic vision
  • Apply sales skills along with technical knowledge to effectively close sales
  • Ensure the Systems Engineering team is enabled to support all required A10 Networks products and solutions, including required sales/soft skills
  • Provide technical leadership and knowledge to the sales organization
  • Proactively engage with Sales Leadership to create close alignment and develop technical tools/programs to support sales campaigns and initiatives

Requirements

  • BS in a computer‑related field or equivalent industry experience outside of management
  • Minimum five (5) years Sales Engineer Management or technical leadership experience
  • Demonstrates the characteristics of a technical leader
  • Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of business leaders and audience sizes
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time for customer meetings, tradeshows, and internal business meetings
  • Experience with Salesforce
