I’m working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy to appoint a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor into its Building Surveying team in Orpington. They offer very flexible working patterns with a minimum requirement of only 1 day in the office in Orpington, meaning candidates living a little further afield could consider this.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, technically strong team with a consistent pipeline of secured work and a reputation for quality delivery.
The Role
You’ll take a senior role within the Building Surveying team, leading on a range of project and professional instructions, often of a complex nature.

You’ll play an active role in maintaining quality, consistency, and professionalism across project delivery.
About You
You’ll be a capable and motivated Building Surveyor who is comfortable taking ownership of projects and working closely with clients.
You’ll likely have:
• MRICS qualified, or working towards chartership • A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline • Experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle • Strong understanding of JCT contracts and contract administration • Good technical knowledge including defects and Party Wall matters • Strong communication and report writing skills • Ability to manage your own workload and contribute to team delivery • Full UK driving licence
