Planning Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to support a major ERP system transition and oversee production planning across six manufacturing sites. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, collaborative team and play a pivotal role in coordinating operations, managing inventory, and ensuring production targets are met on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate production activities across multiple manufacturing sites, including labour scheduling and maintaining accurate data.
• Operate within a 13-week firm planning window while forecasting up to 24 months ahead to align with client demand.
• Attend daily operations meetings to monitor batch progress and flag potential risks impacting delivery schedules.
• Provide schedule and delivery updates to clients, ensuring expectations are managed effectively.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and customer service teams to manage stock levels, cycle counts, and material reordering.
• Contribute to weekly performance metrics covering the full production process from material receipt through QC testing, manufacturing, and shipping.

Requirements:

• 5 – 6 years of experience in production planning, coordination, or a related role.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or pharma is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, client-focused mindset.
• Comfortable working on-site in a small team environment.
