Mechanical Design Engineer – Data Centres (Fully Remote) | £50/hr (Negotiable based on experience)

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in data centres or mission critical environments?

I’m working with a leading engineering consultancy delivering cutting-edge data centre projects across Europe, and they’re looking to bring in an experienced contractor to support a growing pipeline of work.

The Role:

• Mechanical design for data centre / mission critical projects
• Working on HVAC, cooling systems, and associated infrastructure
• Producing detailed designs, calculations, and specifications
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fully remote setup

What they’re looking for:

• Proven experience in data centres / mission critical environments
• Strong background in mechanical building services design
• Experience with HVAC, cooling systems, CRAH/CRAC units
• Proficiency in tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Details:

• Fully remote
• £50 per hour x 40
• Contract role (initial 6 months, likely extension)- 4 years + of work
