Head of CFO Portfolio Shared Services

Police Scotland is seeking a Head of CFO Portfolio Shared Services to lead the strategic redesign, integration and delivery of a strengthened corporate shared services function. This is a rare opportunity to shape the next phase of an established portfolio and embed modern, efficient services at national scale. As a key member of the CFO Senior Management Team, you will set direction, strengthen operational delivery, and set the standard for service excellence. We are looking for a senior leader to champion automation and continuous improvement, and shape how services support frontline policing, being responsible for financial transactions, payroll, stores and corporate administration. Key Responsibilities – * Shared Services Design & Implementation * Financial Management, Control & Assurance * Strategic Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement * Operational and Service Delivery Leadership It is expected that you shall – * Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ICAS, ACCA, ACMA, CIPFA). * Have significant senior-level experience in designing and delivering shared service functions, preferably within large, complex organisations. * Have a demonstrable track record of leading operational finance and corporate services teams.
