Reception Teacher – Bourne, Lincolnshire

Contract: TemporaryWorking Hours: Part Time, Monday – Wednesday

Start Date: Monday 27th April – Wednesday 22nd JulyPay: £130 – £185 per day

The Supply Register are a managed service provider working in partnership with the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust, including a warm and supportive school based in Bourne.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join one of our partner schools starting on Monday 27th April. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about Early Years education and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment for young children.

Position Overview:

As the Reception Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Early Years provision. You will plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and stimulating curriculum that supports children’s early development and lays the foundation for future learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports early development.
  • Observe, assess, and track pupil progress, ensuring learning needs are identified and addressed.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to support children’s wellbeing and development.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff to deliver a cohesive learning experience.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management, safeguarding, and behaviour expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS or early primary settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child-centred learning approaches.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate, nurturing, and committed to giving all pupils the best start in their education.
