About the role of Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team of a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a large scale Data Centre project based in West London. The building type will be a multi-storey reinforced concrete frame structure with highly resilient critical infrastructure systems. You will a no2 reporting into the lead Senior Quantity Surveyor.
This is a great opportunity to gain further experience on a complex project. This company are privately owned with a turnover of over 1bn with plans to continue their growth. They are a winning a lot of work in London and surrounding areas so, they are a great company to be in with.
Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor
Included but not limited to;
- Managing subcontractor packages from procurement to final accounts
- Prepare and submit CVR’s and financial reports
- Valuations and variations
- Monitor project costs and identify potential commercial risks
- Liaise closely with the site team
Key Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:
This company are seeking a personable and hard-working Quantity Surveyor who is successful at maintaining positive relationships.
- Live within commutable distance to West London
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
- Data centre experience is essential
