Permanent Position

Location: Based near Dunball/Wembdon/Bridgwater

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a global manufacturing organisation at their state-of-the-art facility. This is a permanent position offering long-term career development within a stable and growing business.

This is a hands-on role, ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all production machinery, equipment, and site facilities through proactive maintenance, swift repair, and technical collaboration.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Academic Qualifications
• Time-served apprentice with a formal engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in machine and facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• PC literate with experience using maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all site machinery and infrastructure
• Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
• Support operations by resolving mechanical issues that impact production efficiency
• Collaborate with others in the Manufacturing Systems Engineering department and other teams to improve reliability and resolve complex faults
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and site procedure

Package & Benefits:

• Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience + bonus
• Monday to Friday working pattern with an early finish on Fridays
