A busy business in Bridlington is looking for a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone with credit control experience who can manage accounts and support the business in maintaining strong cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Chasing outstanding invoices and managing customer accounts
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Producing reports on aged debt and highlighting any risks
- Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
- Acting as a key point of contact between finance and customers
- Ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in credit control, accounts, or finance
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confident using Excel and finance/accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to work proactively and manage multiple accounts effectively
