Are you an experienced Property Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected, supportive firm where you’ll handle all aspects of residential conveyancing and play a key role in delivering high‑quality legal services to a loyal private client base.
They are looking for a Property Solicitor with 5 years’ PQE who can confidently run files from instruction to completion, working independently while being supported by a strong team of legal secretaries and administrative staff. You will report directly to the Head of Department and join a collaborative team of lawyers who pride themselves on exceptional client care.
The Role
As a Property Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload covering all aspects of residential conveyancing, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- New build transactions
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity and transfers of part
- Adverse possession
- Bridging finance
- Drafting documents relating to all aspects of residential conveyancing
You will handle each matter from start to finish with minimal supervision, ensuring excellent communication, accurate time recording, and consistent billing. The financial target is based on 5 chargeable hours per day.
About you
- Qualified Property Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE
- Degree and LPC
- Current practising certificate with no restrictions
- Strong knowledge of the UK Finance Lenders’ Handbook
- Experience delivering high‑quality work across all aspects of residential conveyancing
- Ability to manage multiple matters and client expectations
- Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with clients and referrers
