Head of Residential Property | 10PQE+ | London

We are currently working with an established London law firm looking to appoint a Head of Residential Property to lead and develop its conveyancing practice.

This is a genuine leadership opportunity for a senior solicitor or licensed conveyancer who enjoys combining technical expertise with team leadership and department growth.

The Role

• Leading and developing the residential conveyancing department
• Managing and supervising a team of conveyancers and support staff
• Handling complex residential transactions including high value freehold and leasehold matters
• Acting on sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions
• Implementing systems and processes to improve efficiency and compliance
• Supporting business development and strengthening introducer relationships

What They Are Looking For

• 10PQE+ Residential Property Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer
• Proven experience supervising or leading teams
• Strong technical conveyancing knowledge
• Commercial mindset and ability to drive departmental growth

This role would suit someone looking to step into a strategic leadership role rather than simply managing a caseload.
