Site Manager – Earthworks, Roads & Sewers and Plotworks
Location: DoncasterEmployer: Civil Engineering & Groundworks ContractorWe’re recruiting for an experienced Site Manager in Doncaster (DN1 1AB) with strong earthworks, roads and sewers and plotworks experience to join a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor on a permanent basis. You’ll oversee the delivery of infrastructure works on new-build housing developments, ensuring quality, safety and programme performance across all R&S activities.
The Role
Manage day‑to‑day operations for roads, sewers, drainage and associated groundworksCoordinate trades, subcontractors and materialsMaintain standards of health & safety, quality and complianceEnsure works are delivered on schedule and in line with client specificationsLiaise with site teams, engineers and project managers to keep projects progressing smoothly
About You
Proven experience managing roads & sewers on residential schemesStrong understanding of civils, drainage and adoptable standards (S38/S104)Confident coordinating teams and maintaining high site standardsExcellent communication and organisational skills

CSCS (Managers card preferred)SMSTSFull UK driving licence
